MARC J. APPELL
Marc Appell is a lifelong resident of Southern California. While growing up, he spent many
summers working in the office of his father, a legendary workers compensation attorney. It is
during this time that he decided to become an attorney to help people who had been hurt or wronged.
Mr. Appell attended college at the University of California at Santa Barbara, obtaining a
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1988. He then attended McGeorge School of Law,
University of the Pacific in Sacramento, obtaining a J.D. in 1991. While at McGeorge, he
volunteered for Community Legal Services, which provides free legal advice to the community, and
was a founding member of that school’s chapter of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.
Mr. Appell spent his first few years as an attorney gaining litigation experience at a
prominent insurance defense firm. After leaving in 1994, he worked in-house for two years before
forming Law Offices of Marc Appell in 1996. Since that time, the firm has focused primarily on
Labor and Employment Law, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, and Business Litigation. Mr.
Appell is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, California Employment
Lawyers Association, and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, and also volunteers his time
as a Judge Pro Tem, Mediator, and Arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Courts.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing or watching sports; movies, music, and the fine art of
poker. He is a fan of all Southern California sports franchises, especially the Lakers and Dodgers.
But his greatest pleasure comes from spending time with his wife and twin daughters, who serve as
a constant reminder that nothing matters more than family. We know that your case is important
for you and your family, and we will do our best to achieve the best possible results for you as if we
were handling the case for our own family. |
